The Dark Sky

 

 My travelling to work takes me across a bay with gorgeous views of urban landscapes.  During the spring and fall the time at which I go gives me the added beauty of the sun rising (and in what is a rahter ironic twist for someone as uninterested in nature as I).  I am moved by the sight each morning and these poems emerge from my mind...

 

 

 

The Dark Sky

The deep grey bas-relief of

A darkening city

Against the pale grey of

A lightening sky
